For the replacement screen, we will need: A plastic pick, A tweezers, set of adhesive strips

Shut down the laptop

To begin, turn off the laptop

Remove the bezel

Now we can remove the bezel. The bezel is held in place with tabs and glue. Use a plastic pick
to pry off the inner edge of the bezel. Using both hands, gently pull the bezel away from the
screen unsnapping the tabs underneath. Use a plastic pick to slightly pry off the hinge cover.
Turn the laptop and release the bezel on the bottom of the laptop. Remove the bezel

Remove adhesive strips

The screen is held in place with two strips of adhesive. Pick the loose tab in the left bottom
of the screen and pull out the adhesive strip. Using the same technique remove adhesive
strip on the right side. Place the screen on the keyboard

Disconnect the screen

Peel off the tape from the video connector. Using plastic pick peel off the smaller clear tape from
the connector. Gently disconnect the video cable. Discard the old screen

Connect the new screen

Place the new screen on the keyboard. Using both hands reconnect the video cable,
and secure it with clear tape. CAUTION! It is very important not to force any connectors.
Also, make sure not to twist or slant the connector when plugging it in

Test the new screen

Now we can test the new screen. Lift the screen up and turn on the laptop. The screen is working
and we can finish the installation process. Place the screen back on the keyboard and secure the
connector with another piece of tape

Install the new screen using adhesive strips

Your new screen will likely to come with now adhesive. We offer standard double-sided tape for
such repairs on our site: https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/section/tools/
Use alcohol and a piece of cloth to clean the back side of the LCD and the inner side of the back
cover. Apply new adhesive strips to the back of the screen. Lift the screen up and apply some pressure.
Clip the excess adhesive strips if needed. Remove the protective film

Replace the bezel

Use a plastic pick to make sure that the bezel goes under the hinge cover. Snap the tabs along the
perimeter. Turn the laptop over and make sure that the tabs are snapped along the bottom edge
of the screen.

Turn the laptop on, and we are done!
